Now that the little dude is 2 months old, his personality is really starting to come out. He can hold his head up on his own now, and he looks you right in the eye when you talk to him. We talk to him all day, and if he likes what you have to say then he'll give you a GIANT smile. It's totally adorable. He's even started laughing and cooing pretty often.
He's less fussy these days and more focused on the things around him. He absolutely loves being outdoors because there are so many new things to look at, so we go on a lot of walks with him and the dogs. He's totally silent and his eyes are wide open the entire time as he takes it all in.
He's also drooling a lot these days, and he's started gnawing on objects - so he could be teething already. It's a little early for that so we're not sure - but it's possible.
We went to his 2-month doctor visit last week and the doc declared him a healthy boy! He's up to 13lbs and 24" long, so he's still pretty big for his age. He had to get another round of vaccine shots at this visit, and that was not a very enjoyable experience.
He's sleeping longer at night (4-5 hour increments) which is really nice, but his daytime nap schedule is definitely not consistent. Some days he doesn't let Mom get anything done. But overall, he's a REALLY good kid. Well behaved, lots of fun and getting smarter by the day!

Howdy, just got your announcement in the mail! Gotta love that little boy of yours, I have his picture up on our fridge. Miss you guys a ton and are hoping everything works out for a great fall vacation with us!
