We took Lochlan on his first road trip this weekend - a short trip up to Seattle for 2 days. My cousin Sammie graduated from Monroe High School this week, so there was a graduation party at her house on Sunday. It was a great party with tons of people and lots of food - and of course Loch was a big hit! My aunt, uncle and cousins that live in Seattle hadn't met Loch yet, so they were excited to hold and play with him. Sammie is moving to Pullman in August to start school at WSU, so the family rivalry will get even more interesting:) Me and my brother (UW) versus Sammie and our other cousin Kate (WSU). Go Dawgs!!!
The little man is great on car trips because he sleeps the entire time, so we had no problems. We spent all day Saturday as well as Sunday morning introducing Loch to some of our best friends in Seattle. We had lunch on Saturday with Adam, Grace and Clint - and Saturday night we hung out with Michelle, Deven and Lisa. Sunday morning with had breakfast with Matt and Jenny. Loch was in a pretty good mood as he was passed around to people could hold him - and I think most people were surprised at how big this kid is for 7 weeks old!
