After staying home for 2 weeks with our cute little man, I had to go back to work today - and I was NOT happy about it. These past weeks have been all about bonding with Lochlan and settling into life with a newborn, and I was really enjoying it. It's impossible to describe the immediate and super-intense love you feel when your child is born. It's something only parenthood can give you. So needless to say, I was not excited about going back to a desk job instead of hanging out all day with my favorite little dude.
The good news is that Lochlan is eating and sleeping much better now than he did the first week, so life has been much easier:) Jen and I are getting a little more sleep, and we've got a good game plan in place to handle feeding, diapers, and everything else baby related!
Going back to work was very hard, but I know he's in great hands all day with his Mom:)
