Well I made it to the 13th week! After this week is over, I will have officially made it through the first trimester. It seems like it went really fast. The baby has moved up and is making itself known now! It's crazy the difference between last week and this week! Time to keep layering up and wearing baggy shirts to work!

Well at least I only have to work 3 days this week. We leave on Thursday to head to Arizona for a weekend in the warm sun and a UW football game against U of A.
I am feeling much better now. Sean was out of town for work last week, so I had to take care of myself all week...(he's been really great at making snacks and meals so that I don't have to).... and I managed to cook for myself all week. I'm finally able to get back into the kitchen without the crazy food aversions! YAY! =)
Today I even thought that maybe a salad would be good. I didn't quite get to making one, but at least the thought of it didn't turn my stomach.
The weather up here in Portland has been awesome lately! We didn't really get much of a summer at all, so this fall has been making up for it. Nice sunny days in the 60's sometimes even in the 70's. It's been great. And, since it hasn't rained in a week, we were able to get back out to the backyard this weekend and finish up our lawn area. Here are some before and after pics so you can see what we have been working on. It's still a work in progress. But we did plant the grass seed yesterday, so that will eventually fill in the large dirt area that you see in the first and second sets of pictures. The new main patio are is now just to the right of the lawn area, separated by a low stone wall. There is also a pathway to a sideyard patio, however, we haven't done much with that area yet since we have been focused on the lawn area. So I will post pics of that once we get it all fixed up. Obviously we need to clean up the areas of extra dirt that are laying on the patio....but we are just happy the trees are in! I hope by next year that they grow at least a little bit so we can get a little bit more privacy.

You're back to blogging! Yay! Just had to catch up on everything. Look at that baby bump!!! So exciting!!!
I can't believe you have already completed your first trimester!!! That is so cool, and the tiny baby bump is exciting. Your yard is looking awesome! We have a lot of work to do on our new place (I put some photos on FB from before we moved in, I think it was you who was saying I should...) I have to give you a call to chat, but it's great to get caught up on everything through your blog.
