My parents visit was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed spending more time with them. During their stay my mom took me shopping for some maternity clothes and got me quite a few tops and a pair of dress pants for work. Although I don’t need them quite yet, it is nice to know that I have a few pieces in the closet to wear on those days when I start feeling that I can’t button up my pants anymore.
My parents also helped us out a TON with all the little things they fixed around the house. The largest project was replacing our water hose spout in our front yard. This included climbing under the house, removing and replacing under the house insulation and custom-fitting a few parts! It was a big job for such a little item, but we are super thankful to have it complete! Thanks Mom and Dad!
This weekend is we finally were able to start working on the backyard again too. We had a big dump truck come and dump 7 ½ yards of sandy loam in our driveway and we started the process of moving it all to the backyard area into the planter beds and the area that will eventually become our lawn. Lots of hard work!
Tomorrow we go in for our ultrasound and first Doctor appointment! We are very excited and hopeful that everything is coming along as it should.
