Frustrated & Anxious

Ahh.. This business of buying a house can be very frustrating sometimes. We signed all our loan documents two weeks ago and packed everything into boxes to prepare for the move - and now we wait. First we were told that we would close escrow and could move into the new house last weekend, but that never happened. Then we were told that the delay would be over by this weekend, but again we sit here in a house full of boxes and unable to move. Now we're just crossing our fingers that we'll be able to move next weekend. Apparently the bank that is selling our house (we bought a foreclosure) doesn't actually have the title to the property, and obviously they can't transfer the title to us until they get it. You would think they would go get the title the moment they decided to list the home for sale, but I guess they really don't think that far ahead. It's a long, ridiculous story that has caused much frustration... mostly because we are extremely anxious to move into our new house. All the big plans we have for new furniture, carpet and paint are on hold because we don't even have house keys yet!
