Going down the wrong pipe

Wrapping up our bedtime routine and laying in bed with Loch tonight, he takes a sip of water and starts coughing. Then this conversation occurs:

• Sean: Are you OK? Did it go down the wrong pipe?
• Loch: Yep, it went down the wrong pipe.
• Sean: Only air goes down the air pipe, silly.
• Loch: Yeah. And water goes down the water pipe... and milk goes down the milk pipe!
• Sean: What?
• Loch: And juice goes down the juice pipe! And strawberries go down the strawberry pipe! (starting to laugh)
• Sean: And blueberries go down the blueberry pipe?
• Loch: And smoothies go down the smoothie pipe! (laughing hysterically now)
• Sean: And carrots go down the carrot pipe?
• Loch: And peas go down the peas pipe! (almost at tears he's laughing so hard)
• Sean: And grill cheese sandwiches go down the grill cheese sandwich pipe?
• Loch: (long pause because he can't stop laughing)... and bagels go down the bagel pipe! 

This continues for another 10 rounds of back-and-forth naming food items and their associated pipes. I absolutely LOVE age 3... it is some much fun. Loch is so smart and wity, but also goofy and wacky. He's just an amazing kid and we're so blessed to have him :)
