Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you are having a wonderful day with family or friends! Sean and I are having a very relaxing day together. The snow altered our plans a little bit...the roads here have been extremely challenging & since the Seattle area also is getting tons of snow, we've postponed our visit up there until after the new year.

Today so far we slept in, had yummy waffles for breakfast & went back to the dogpark for more snowboarding. Later we are going to have Lamb for our Christmas Dinner. =) It'll be my first lamb, but I am looking forward to it. I stuffed it with figs and seasonings & I will be roasting it & making a balsamic reduction sauce to drizzle over it. We have a nice bottle of red wine, so I hope it's going to be a delicious combo.
So basically we're siting around and eating all day. =) Like I said....relaxing.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you some more photos - because we've had snow on the ground in our neighborhood now for about 8 - 9 days. And I know that Beaverton/Portland has had snow on the ground for over 12 days. This has been the worst winter that this area has seen since 1968. And when all is said and done, it may end up topping those records.

I went out to my car this morning to uncover it from the snow.... it was under about a foot of snow/ice. I figured it was about time to check on it and make sure it still runs....all is good, it started up just fine. Just look at how much had piled up!

Here are some pictures of Tank playing in the snow.

On Tuesday, Dec. 23rd, Sean and I went to see my Grandma in Beaverton to celebrate Christmas with her and my uncles & their families. It was a lot of fun. Here is a picture with me and Sean and Grandma.

Here are some fun pictures of stuff in our neighborhood. This is one of our neighbor's icicles. Check out the ones on the second floor next to the window. Ours were pretty long like this too, but they melted last night when we had a little bit of rain, so I didn't get a good picture of them.

This one is of the tree branches. After it snowed earlier this week it froze & then all the tree branches were outlined in this layer of ice/snow. I thought it looked pretty cool.
